Jennifer was 2 weeks over due. She wasn’t born in Texas. She was born in Decatur, Illinois. She weighed in as my largest, 10 lbs and 4 oz.! I remember the nurses coming in the room wanting to see the woman from Texas that gave birth to the 3 month baby in the nursery. She was baptized as an infant on Christmas Day. It was so cold. Snow drifts. Windchill below zero and we were going to church.
We would move back to Texas when she was 5 months old and shortly after buy property in the community of Blue Texas where she would call home through high school.
Today she lives in Round Rock and is extremely busy as wife, mommy to three dogs, employee of a bank where she has worked since she was 16 years old (half her life!), and attends college full time. Yesterday we celebrated with her as she was applying for her diploma as she graduates with her BBA in May 2016.
So…..Happy Birthday Jen! I love you more than words can express. So proud of the woman you have become. To help embarrass you on this day here are some childhood and adult memories.
I love you,
